About Inkfold
Inkfold counts the days since contact ended and gives the texts you want to send somewhere to go. Set the day it ended and the counter shows your current run and your total, and the total never drops. When you want to text them, tap "I want to text them" and write: the editor has no send button, because there is nothing to send. File the letter in your vault, or let it go: after a second confirmation the words are deleted for good and the letter folds into the ink well, leaving only a stub with the date and the word count. If you do reach out, one tap logs it; the run starts again and the total stays. Each day brings one small thing to do away from your phone, milestones land at 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60 and 90 days, and Crease, a folded letter with two ink-dot eyes, keeps you company. Lock the vault with Face ID, turn on a gentle reminder whose words never give anything away on your lock screen, and find a help row always on Home. No account; your letters never leave your device.
Features
A Draft With No Send Button
When you want to text them, write here instead. There is no send button anywhere in the app, and nothing ever goes out.
File It or Let It Go
Keep a letter in your vault, or let it go: after a second confirmation the words are deleted for good and only a dated stub remains.
Days That Only Add Up
Your current run and your total since contact ended. Reaching out logs one day; the run restarts and the total never drops.
One Small Thing a Day
Each day suggests one small, real-world thing to do, like a walk or a change of sheets. Tick it off, or don't.
A Vault Behind Face ID
Lock your letters with Face ID or your device's biometric lock. Free, and it stays free.
Reminders That Keep Your Secret
An optional morning note for today's small thing. Its words never mention a person, a letter or what the app is for.
