About Hollerhop
Hollerhop is a frog you control with your voice. Say something and Tad walks across the lily pads; shout and he jumps; keep shouting and he jumps further. Flies hover over the long gaps, burrs sit on the wide pads, some pads drift and some sink if you go quiet on them. Play an endless run for the best distance, today's pond (one course, the same for everyone, against the clock and three stars), or climb the ladder of twenty-four ponds. Turn the front camera on and your face sits behind the pond, so a screen recording of your run is you doing the shouting. Every run starts with a second of listening so a quiet voice in a quiet room counts. No account, no server; the microphone is read as a level and never recorded.
Features
A Murmur Walks, a Shout Jumps
The level of your voice is the throttle: quiet and Tad waits, a murmur and he walks, a shout and he leaps. Hold the shout and he lifts further, keep shouting and he bunny-hops — the height is in the sustain, which is the one thing a voice can actually control
Listens to the Room First
Every run opens with a second of listening. The floor is lifted over the room's own noise, so a whisper in a bedroom counts and a café does not walk the frog on its own. Three sensitivity settings, and a touch mode if you would rather not use the microphone
Fair by Construction
Every gap is sized against how far a leap reaches, drifting pads are budgeted at their worst phase, and every burr is a wall to walk up to and hop, never a landing you could not avoid. The twenty-four ponds are proven finishable by the rules themselves
Your Face Behind the Pond
Turn the camera on and the front camera sits behind the lily pads, mirrored, with every object outlined so the game reads on any wall. Off by default, nothing saved — the point is the clip of you yelling at your phone
Splash, Then Second Wind
A splash freezes the frame on the last pad. Watch a short ad for a second wind and carry on from where you stood, twice a run — or call it a run and see the numbers. A run with a second wind never sets the endless best
On Your Phone, Full Stop
No account, no login, no server of ours. The microphone is read as a volume level and never recorded; the camera is a preview. Your runs, bests and stars live in local storage and can be deleted in one tap
