Paid in Full Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 22, 2026
Introduction
Paid in Full (“the app”) is developed by Grisu Studio. This policy describes what the app stores, what it sends, and what it never touches. The app has no accounts, no login and no servers of ours — and, for an app about money, one thing worth stating first: it has no bank connection of any kind. It never links to a financial institution, never imports a transaction, and has no technical ability to do either. Every debt, payment, charge and setting you enter is written to your own device and stays there. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google’s advertising SDK sends in order to serve the ads that keep the app free, and you control whether that is personalised.
Scope
This privacy policy applies solely to the Paid in Full mobile application.
Data We Collect
Stored on your device only, never transmitted to us: the debts you enter (the name you type, balance, interest rate, minimum payment, currency, an optional promotional rate with its end date, an optional annual fee with the month it is charged, and an optional late fee); the payments you log, and the interest and fee charges you copy from your statements, including any note you attach; a daily snapshot of your total balance, which the balance chart is drawn from; the history of every change to your debt-free date (the day, the old and new month, and what you had just changed); the milestones you have reached and the day you reached each; your plan settings (payment order, extra monthly amount, planned one-off payments, start month, currency); your app settings (language, theme, sound, haptics, keep-screen-awake); and small counters that decide when the app may show its explanation before Apple’s tracking prompt. We also store the answer to the one-time age question as a bracket only — either “under 13” or “13 or over”. A birth year you select is converted to that bracket and immediately discarded; the app never stores a date of birth. Collected by Google AdMob, not by us, in order to serve ads: your device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) where you allow it, IP address, coarse device information such as model and operating system version, and ad interaction data. We never collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, bank credentials, card numbers or account numbers — the app asks for none of them and has nowhere to send them.
How We Use Your Data
Your on-device data is used for exactly one purpose: computing what the app shows you — the debt-free date, the interest and fees ahead, the comparison with paying only the minimums, the month-by-month schedule, the comparison between payment orders, the milestones and the balance chart. All of these are estimates from the numbers you enter. Your data is never uploaded, never shared with a lender or anyone else, never used to market a financial product, and never analysed by us. The app contains no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting service of ours, and that claim is credible for a structural reason rather than a promise: we operate no server for either of them to report to. Paid in Full computes arithmetic on numbers you type in. It is not financial advice, and it never recommends consolidating, refinancing, or which debt to pay first. Advertising data is used by Google to deliver and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom the app shows Google’s consent form before any ad loads. On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt is never shown at launch: after you have saved your first debt or logged your first payment, the app shows one short screen of its own explaining that ads keep it free, with a single Continue button that opens Apple’s prompt. Declining either choice keeps ads non-personalised rather than removing them, and every feature works the same either way. You can revisit both at any time in Settings → Privacy & ads. The app also caps the content rating of every ad it requests, so adult and other sensitive ad categories are excluded regardless of your consent choices. Ads appear on the Debts and Settings screens only, plus an occasional full-screen ad after a payment is saved; there are never ads over the Plan, the schedule or the simulator, and none after a payment that clears a debt. The app sells nothing: there are no in-app purchases.
Children's Privacy
Paid in Full is listed for ages 13 and over and is not directed to children — it is a tool for people managing their own debts. The app still asks a neutral, skippable age question on first launch, because the answer can only ever make ad treatment stricter, never looser. If you indicate you are under 13, the app switches to child-directed treatment on that device: ads are limited to the “General audiences” rating, are never personalised, no advertising identifier is used, and Apple’s tracking prompt is never shown. Skipping the question keeps the standard 13-and-over treatment. The setting can be changed at any time in Settings → Privacy & ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no mechanism to do so — there is no account, no messaging and no upload of any kind.
Data Security
Because we run no servers and hold no database, there is no copy of your debts anywhere for us to lose, leak, or be compelled to hand over. Your debts, payments, charges, date history, milestones and snapshots live in a SQLite database inside the app’s private storage on your device, protected by the operating system’s own sandboxing and by whatever device encryption you have enabled. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of it, and Settings → Privacy & ads → Delete all my data erases every debt, payment, charge, the date history, the milestones and the plan settings without uninstalling. CSV exports are written to the app’s cache directory on the device and handed straight to your system share sheet — nothing is uploaded in the process, though once you share a file it goes wherever you send it. Data handled by Google AdMob is governed by Google’s own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We will update this policy whenever the app’s behaviour changes in a way that affects it, and the “Last Updated” date above will change with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Contact Us
Questions, corrections or a request to delete data: email support@grisu.co with “Paid in Full privacy” in the subject. Because all of your data is held on your own device, a deletion request is fulfilled by Settings → Privacy & ads → Delete all my data or by uninstalling the app — we hold nothing to delete on our side, and we will say so plainly if you ask.
