A paediatric growth assessment tool for clinicians. Z-scores and percentiles for weight-for-age, height-for-age, weight-for-height, BMI-for-age and head-circumference-for-age, computed from the official LMS parameter tables and plotted on reference curves drawn from the same data. Growth-velocity analysis between visits, specialist references for preterm and other populations, a fluid-needs calculator, and a patient record that never leaves the device. A calculation and visualisation tool to support a professional judgment — not a diagnostic device.

What this app is, precisely
GrowthChart is a calculation and visualisation tool intended to augment the assessment of a qualified health professional. It is not a diagnostic device and must not replace clinical judgment. Verify critical values independently before acting on them. That notice appears on first launch, has to be acknowledged, and stays reachable from Settings.
Nothing is reconstructed from memory
Every reference dataset the app ships is an official published table, stored as a versioned data file with its citation recorded in the “About the data” screen. Where a dataset was not available during the build, the app does not offer it — a plausible-but-wrong LMS table is the worst possible outcome for a tool like this, worse than a missing feature.
The maths is tested against published values
Z-scores use the standard LMS formula with the WHO adjustment for extreme values beyond ±3 SD. The implementation is pure logic with a test suite that checks computed Z-scores and percentiles against published worked examples and spot values from the source tables.
Ads never appear near a clinical number
Advertising is confined to the home, settings and about screens. No ad is shown on a results screen, a calculation or a chart, where it could distract from a clinical value or be mistaken for part of one. The content rating of every ad requested is capped tighter than the app’s store rating requires, because a child is usually in the room.
