Eight events

Sprint, long jump, javelin, hurdles, high jump, throw, shooting and swimming — each a ten-to-thirty second skill test, each composed from tested primitives.

Millisecond-honest timing

Every window is measured from a monotonic clock, not from frame counts. The 'perfect' pop is real, and so is the near-miss.

Three modes

A full championship meet, single events for chasing a personal best, and a seeded daily decathlon everyone plays on the same board.

No real nations or athletes

The colour kits are evocative and entirely invented. There are no real flags, teams, crests or people anywhere in this game.

Medals that persist

Bronze, silver and gold against fixed record thresholds, plus personal bests per event, saved on your device.

About Gold Rush Games

Eight short athletic events, none longer than half a minute, all built from four input ideas: mash to build speed, a timing bar to hit a window, angle and power to set up a throw, and rhythm to clear hurdles on the beat.

That is the whole game, and it is deliberately the whole game. The interest is in how precisely you can do four simple things under pressure.

Honest to the millisecond

Every timing window is measured against a monotonic clock, not a frame counter. That distinction is invisible until it is not: a game that measures your input in frames tells you that you were late when you were early, and no amount of juice makes up for it.

The ‘perfect’ pop is real. So is the near-miss, which is the more important half.

Three modes

Championship runs a sequence of events for a combined score and medals. Single Event is there to chase one personal best. The Daily serves a seeded set that everyone in the world plays on the same board, so the score means something.

Nobody’s flag

There are no real nations, flags, teams, crests or athletes in this game. The colour kits are named after materials and invented outright — Scarlet, Azure, Emerald, Violet, Gold — for the obvious reason and also because a made-up kit is easier to feel loyal to.

What it does not do

No advertising. No analytics. No accounts. No network requests of any kind.

Everything it remembers lives in one file on your device, and Settings has a button that erases it.
