Centil Política de privacidad

Introducción
Centil ("the app", formerly announced as GrowthChart) is developed by Grisu Studio. This policy explains exactly what the app stores, what it sends and what it never touches. Centil has no accounts, no login and no servers of ours: the patients and measurements you enter are written to the app's private storage on your own device and stay there. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising SDK sends in order to serve the ads that keep the app free, and you control whether those ads are personalised.
Alcance
Esta política de privacidad se aplica únicamente a la aplicación móvil Centil.
Datos que recopilamos
Stored on your device only, never transmitted to us or to anyone: the patients you create (the name or initials you type, sex, date of birth, gestational age at birth, an optional record number and notes) and their visits (date, weight, length or height and how it was measured, head and arm circumference, skinfolds, oedema, notes); your settings (language, appearance, default reference, classification labels, chart lines, haptics); and the answer to the one-time age question as a bracket only, either "under 13" or "13 or over". The birth year you pick is converted to that bracket and discarded; the app never stores your date of birth. Z-scores and percentiles are recomputed from the measurements every time and are not stored. Collected by Google AdMob, not by us, in order to serve ads: your device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, coarse device information such as model and operating system version, and ad interaction data. The patient information you enter is health information about another person; it is never sent to us, never shared with Google or any advertising SDK, and no ad is ever shown on a chart, a result, a form or the calculator. You remain responsible, under your own jurisdiction's rules, for the records you keep on a device.
Cómo usamos tus datos
Your on-device data is used only to make the app work: to compute a Z-score and a percentile, plot the growth curve and velocity, and build the report you choose to export. The app works without an internet connection, contains no analytics and no crash reporting, and has no server to send anything to. Exports leave the device only when you create them and pick where they go: a PDF report, a CSV spreadsheet or a backup file handed to your device's share sheet. Importing reads a file you choose with the system file picker. Advertising data is used by Google to deliver and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom the app shows Google's consent form before any ad loads, and on iOS it shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt after one short explanation of ours, only after you have saved a patient, a visit or an export, never at launch. Declining either keeps ads non-personalised, it does not remove them, and both choices can be changed in Settings → Privacy & ads. The app caps the content rating of every ad it requests, so gambling, alcohol, dating and similar adult categories are excluded regardless of your choices.
Privacidad de los menores
Centil is a tool for health professionals and is listed for people aged 13 and over; it is not directed to children. Because it is often used with a child in the room, ads are limited to a small banner on the patient list, Settings and the Methods screen, with a content rating capped tighter than the store rating. The app asks a neutral, skippable age question on first launch; if you indicate you are under 13, ads switch to child-directed treatment for the life of the app on that device (general audiences only, never personalised, no advertising identifier, no tracking prompt). This can be changed at any time in Settings → Privacy & ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no mechanism to do so.
Seguridad de los datos
We run no servers and hold no database, so there is no copy of your data anywhere for us to lose. Everything Centil stores lives in the app's private storage, protected by the operating system's sandbox and your device encryption. You can delete a visit, a patient or all data from inside the app (Settings → Your data → Delete all data, or Settings → Privacy & ads → Delete all my data); each delete can be undone for a few seconds and is then permanent. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything. A backup or export file you create is yours to keep safe. Data handled by Google AdMob is governed by Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Cambios en esta política
We will update this policy whenever the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects it, and the "Last Updated" date will change with it. Material changes will also be noted in the release notes.
Contacto
Questions, corrections or a deletion request: email support@grisu.co with "Centil privacy" in the subject. Because all of your data is on your own device, a deletion request is fulfilled with the delete options in the app or by uninstalling it; we hold nothing to delete on our side and will say so plainly if you ask.
