Fief Política de privacidad

Introducción

Fief ("the app") is developed by Grisu Studio. This policy describes what the app stores, what it sends, and what it never touches. Fief has no accounts, no login and no servers of ours. Your habits, your check-ins, your freezes and your settings are written to local storage on your device and stay there. The town the app draws is computed from those check-ins on the device and is not stored at all. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising SDK sends in order to serve the ads that keep the app free, and you control whether those ads are personalised.

Alcance

Esta política de privacidad se aplica únicamente a la aplicación móvil Fief.

Datos que recopilamos

Stored on your device only, never transmitted to us: every habit you create (its name, the glyph you chose, its schedule, its reminder time if any, and the day it was created), every check-in (which habit, which local day, and the time), every freeze you have earned (the day and how it was earned), the day you last opened the Kingdom (for one of the daily quests), and your settings (theme, app language, sound, haptics, whether reminders are on, and the town palette). We also store the answer to the one-time age question as a bracket only, either "under 13" or "13 or over", never a birth year or date of birth. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device from the times you set; no notification token exists and nothing about them is sent anywhere. Collected by Google AdMob, not by us, in order to serve ads: your device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, coarse device information such as model and operating system version, and ad interaction data. The app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.

Cómo usamos tus datos

Your habits and check-ins are used only inside the app: to draw the town, to count your streaks and freezes, to fill the grid, to award trophies and to judge the daily quests. They are never uploaded, never shared and never analysed by us; the app contains no analytics and no crash reporting. Sharing the town renders a picture on the device and hands it to your system share sheet; you decide where it goes and nothing is uploaded in the process. Advertising data is used by Google to deliver and measure ads: a banner on the Progress and Settings screens, one optional rewarded video you can choose to watch to earn a streak freeze, and occasionally a full-screen ad on the next screen change after the day's last habit is checked. Ads never appear on the Today screen or in the Kingdom. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom the app shows Google's consent form before any ad loads. On iOS the app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, after a short explanation of its own, the first time a day is kept rather than at launch; until you answer it, ads are non-personalised. Declining either one keeps ads non-personalised rather than removing them, and you can revisit both choices at any time from Settings → Privacy and ads. The app also caps the content rating of every ad it requests. A one-time purchase, Fief Pro, removes ads entirely; it is handled by the App Store or Google Play, and we never see your payment details.

Privacidad de los menores

Fief is a productivity app listed for ages 13 and over and is not directed to children. The app asks one neutral, skippable age question and keeps the answer as a bracket rather than a date of birth. If you indicate you are under 13, the app switches to child-directed ad treatment on that device: ads are restricted to the "General audiences" rating, are never personalised, no advertising identifier is used, the rewarded video is still opt-in only, and Apple's tracking prompt is never shown. The setting can be changed at any time in Settings → Privacy and ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no mechanism to do so.

Seguridad de los datos

Because we run no servers and hold no database of our own, there is no copy of your data anywhere for us to lose or be compelled to hand over. Your habits, check-ins, freezes and settings live in the app's private local storage on your device (a SQLite database and a small settings file), protected by the operating system's sandboxing and by whatever device encryption you have enabled. Any habit can be deleted from its own screen together with its check-ins, "Delete all my data" in Settings erases every habit, check-in and freeze the app has saved, and uninstalling the app removes everything. Data handled by Google AdMob is governed by Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Cambios en esta política

We will update this policy whenever the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects it, and the "Last Updated" date above will change with it. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Contacto

Questions, corrections or a request to delete data: email support@grisu.co with "Fief privacy" in the subject. Because all of your data is held on your own device, a deletion request is fulfilled by deleting it in the app or uninstalling it; we hold nothing to delete on our side.
