Color Streak Privacy Policy

Introduction

Color Streak ("the app") is developed by Grisu Studio. This policy describes what the app stores, what it sends, and what it never touches. Color Streak has no accounts, no login and no servers of ours. Every round's colors are generated on your device, and your progress is written to local storage on your device and stays there. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising SDK sends in order to serve the ads that keep the app free, and you control whether those ads are personalised.

Scope

This privacy policy applies solely to the Color Streak mobile application.

Data We Collect

Stored on your device only, never transmitted to us: your bests (Classic, Daily, Rush, the finest ΔE you matched, your Zen estimate), your Daily streak, your streak freezes and the days they covered, your badge progress, the Dailies you played and your last 30 runs (mode, score, finest ΔE and when), and your settings (color mode, theme, app language, sound, haptics, the Daily reminder and its time). The answer to the one-time age question is kept as a bracket only, "under 13" or "13 or over"; if you pick a birth year it is converted to that bracket and discarded. Collected by Google AdMob, not by us, in order to serve ads: your device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) where permitted, IP address, coarse device information such as model and operating system version, and ad interaction data. The app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, camera or photos.

How We Use Your Data

Your progress is used only inside the app: to show your bests, streak, calendar and badges, and to decide whether today's reminder is still needed. It is never uploaded, shared or analysed by us; the app contains no analytics of its own. The Daily reminder is off until you turn it on; turning it on asks for notification permission at that moment, and it is a local notification scheduled by your own device, with no push token. Sharing a result opens your system share sheet with an image and a line of text that you send wherever you choose. Advertising data is used by Google to deliver and measure ads: a banner on the home and progress screens, an occasional full-screen ad between runs (never during a round), and a rewarded ad only when you choose to watch one for a streak freeze. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, Google's consent form appears before any ad loads, and on iOS Apple's App Tracking Transparency alert appears after your first run, never at launch, with no screen of ours before it, and no ad is requested until it has been answered. Declining either keeps ads non-personalised rather than removing them, and you can revisit both in Settings under Privacy and ads. Every ad request caps the content rating, so gambling, alcohol, dating and similar adult categories are excluded.

Children's Privacy

Color Streak is a game listed for ages 13 and over and is not directed to children. The app asks one neutral, skippable age question and keeps the answer as a bracket. If you indicate you are under 13, the app switches to child-directed ad treatment on that device: ads are restricted to general audiences, never personalised, no advertising identifier is used, and Apple's tracking prompt is never shown. The setting can be changed at any time in Settings under Privacy and ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no way to: no account, no messaging, no upload. Color Streak is a game, not a vision test.

Data Security

Because we run no servers and hold no database of our own, there is no copy of your progress anywhere for us to lose or be compelled to hand over. Your data lives in the app's private local storage, protected by the operating system's sandboxing and your device encryption. "Delete all my data" in Settings erases it at once and switches the reminder off, and uninstalling the app removes it permanently. Data handled by Google AdMob is governed by Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We will update this policy whenever the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects it, and the "Last Updated" date above will change with it. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Because all of your data is held on your own device, a deletion request is fulfilled by "Delete all my data" in the app or by uninstalling it; we hold nothing to delete on our side.
