About Fief
Fief is a habit tracker where each check-in raises a building. Add a habit with a name, a glyph and a schedule, from every day to a few chosen days to N times a week, with an optional reminder. Check it off and a brick flies into your plot: a house, a tree, a road, a well, a market. Every seventh check raises a mill, a tower, a church or a keep, and when the plot fills its wall closes and a new plot opens. Every habit's own streak raises a landmark at seven, thirty and a hundred. The Kingdom is your town full screen, day and night by the clock, with pinch and drag and a share card. Progress is a GitHub-style grid of the last twenty weeks, your streak with freezes that cover a missed day on their own, a shelf of trophies and three quests a day. The town is never stored: it is drawn from your check-ins every time, so it can never be wrong. No account, no server, nothing leaves the phone unless you share it.
Features
A Town That Grows With You
Every check-in places one building on an isometric plot, spiralling out from the centre: houses, trees, roads, wells, markets, ponds and fields, with a wall segment every fifth. Every seventh check raises a milestone building, a mill, a tower, a church, a keep, and when the plot is full the wall closes and a new plot opens beside it
Derived, Never Stored
The town is computed from your check-ins every time it is drawn, so the same history always gives the same town and undoing today's check simply takes the last building back. People, coin and stone are counted from the buildings the same way
Streaks, Freezes and Landmarks
Each habit keeps its own streak, and a run of seven, thirty or a hundred raises a statue, a fountain or a monument in the town. A freeze covers one missed day automatically, so a bad Tuesday does not cost the month. Freezes come from a rewarded ad, one a day, or with Fief Pro
Any Schedule
Every day, chosen weekdays, or N times a week, where the app only insists on the days the week can no longer spare. A local reminder at the time you choose, per habit, and a switch in Settings to silence them all
Progress You Can Read
A contribution grid of the last twenty weeks in three levels, the kept-day streak with its best, a shelf of ten trophies drawn as town objects, and three quests a day seeded by the date
On Your Phone, Full Stop
No account, no login, no server of ours. Habits, check-ins and freezes live in local storage and can be deleted in one tap. Sharing the town sends a picture through the system share sheet and nothing else
